60 Minutes

A commemoration of the 30-year anniversary of Jack Nicklaus’ historic 18th and final major championship in the 1986 Masters. The film recounts the Golden Bear’s improbable come-from-behind victory to become the oldest winner of the Masters at age 46. Whether from a truck stop, hospital, at home with family or in-person, golf fans all remember where they were for Jack’s final moment of glory in the majors, and the film documents the vivid memories from their array of vantage points. ’86 also features interviews with Nicklaus and his family members, along with members of the broadcast team in 1986, fellow professionals, and members of the golf media covering the event. Narrated by John Cusack.

Nicklaus helps recreate his great charge, but the sweetest touches are the side stories.
